Edible Cutlery

Sometimes it takes a normal person, observing an everyday decision, to make an extraordinary difference. Narayana Peesapathy has developed a nutritious edible cutlery to try to eradicate the vast waste of plastic cutlery in India. Not only can this replace plastic cutlery: it comes in a variety of flavours to complement meals/ drinks; it requires no preservatives yet maintains a 3 year shelf life; and it is his platform to try to encourage farming to move from rice to millet as it requires much less water usage to produce. In larger quantities Narayana will be able to get the costs down to as low as plastic cutlery.
