I have been running a project with a local (to Cornwall UK) company called Francli. They sustainably source textiles from military surplus stores and offcuts from factories to hand-make bespoke ‘craftwear’. The products are aimed towards ‘outdoor makers’: people who live much of their life outdoors and love to create. Whether you may brew coffee or beer, make pottery or jewellery, paint, carve stone or wood…you are the audience for Francli.
Having inspired the tagline ‘work and play’ I then launched a project in which I have designed tags and journals made from the workshop offcuts. I will be posting soon with the results of the project.
